The Peppermill Cafe is at Birley Street in Blackpool – that’s the one with the big steel arches. Find it about half way along. It’s a licensed cafe with plenty of seating inside, plus additional tables and chairs outside in the pedestrianised street.

Indoors or Takeaway
There’s plenty of seating inside the store, with tables and chairs seating 2’s and 4’s. Ones near to the window offer a good view of the world passing by! Outside there is plenty of additional seating for anyone who enjoys the fresh air or who wishes to smoke. Birley Street is pedestrianised and home to several cafes and bars, so it’s a pleasant environment to enjoy the outdoors on a nice day. Order at the counter to sit inside or outdoors.
Disabled Access
There’s level access to front of the store, so is fully accessible for those with mobility requirements. Toilet facilities are located on the same floor as the restaurant.
Peppermill Cafe Blackpool
The Peppermill Cafe has been trading since 1987 and is a family owned and run business. All the food is freshly cooked and baked by their own chef on the premises. Outside catering is also available for buffets, parties etc.
There’s a huge menu of favourites to choose from. Starting with breakfast – from full English to barms and lite bites. Salads, steaks, jacket potatoes and sandwiches for later in the day, plus a wide choice of main meals. Here’s my own homemade curry which was delicious – served with a small dish of chutney and a warm naan bread.
Overall
There’s a nice warm and friendly atmosphere about this Blackpool cafe. The food is amazing – homemade at it’s finest – and very reasonably priced too. So it’s definitely on our list of recommended places to eat and drink.
