Muffin Break Blackpool is at the centre of the Houndshill Shopping Centre! It’s right in the middle of the mall, where the main areas meet. It’s a large and spacious store on a corner site with good access. There’s plenty of seating for all kinds of group sizes, in a modern and welcoming cafe.

Indoors or Takeaway

There’s plenty of seating inside the store. Bench seating caters for larger groups of people while tables and chairs seat 2’s and 4’s. As it’s an indoor mall there aren’t any outdoor seats. But all the seating offers a great view of the world passing by as they walk by the huge windows!

Order at the counter to sit inside or take-away. You can also order from online delivery companies such as JustEat, UberEats and Deliveroo for delivery.

Disabled Access

There’s level access to front of the store, so is fully accessible for those with mobility requirements. Toilet facilities are located on the same floor as the restaurant.

Muffin Break Blackpool

Muffin Break is a franchise chain, with individually owned stores operating the national brand. It originated in Canada in the 1970s and bought by Australian Foodco Group in Australia a decade later. The first Muffin Break bakery cafe opened in the UK in 2001 and now has 60+ locally owned cafes nationwide.

The Blackpool branch opened on 25 August 2022 after a complete fit-out for the store which had previously sold film merchandise and gifts.

Baked on Site

Muffin Break has a mission for providing good food – and it’s fair to say they do that! Each and every item on the menu is handmade. They also have an on-site bakery where expert bakers make the selection of sweet and savoury foods, fresh every day.

Overall

There’s a nice warm and friendly atmosphere about this Blackpool coffee shop. They also sell great food and drinks too! It’s definitely on our list of recommended places to eat and drink.
