Eat In or Takeaway
Along with most restaurants, East4West opens from tea-time for evening service. Weekends see slightly earlier/later opening hours than midweek. There’s plenty of space inside the comfortable restaurant. You can also choose from the entire menu available to order online. Enjoy your favourite dishes delivered straight to your door.
Disabled Access
A moveable ramp provides level access to the store, otherwise there’s a small step at the front of the restaurant. Toilet facilities are located upstairs, not on the same floor as the restaurant.
Overall
Kevin and I enjoyed an evening at East4West in the company of owner Chirag. I wouldn’t say I’m a huge fan of Indian food – Chinese/oriental is more my thing. I’m not a huge fan of a lot of spicy food – although Kevin is very partial to Indian cuisine and has eaten a lot of it over the years!
Although you wouldn’t usually get the staff sitting with you, providing advice on menu choices and background on dishes, it was enjoyable and useful. We thought it would make an interesting video for anyone else who is unsure about dipping their toes into new tastes! However, the staff will gladly chat through menu options for anyone who is looking for guidance.
Knowing that I didn’t want overly spicy or hot food, Chirag recommended mild dishes from the menu. Each of them delicious and flavoursome and thoroughly enjoyable. So, so much better than the Kormas and Masalas you buy from M&S!
