Manchester to Blackpool Car Run

The Manchester to Blackpool Car Run takes place again for the 56th time in 2018, with an eclectic mix of veteran, vintage and classic vehicles.

Sunday 10th June 2018

Finish in the Italian Gardens at Stanley Park (cars will arrive from 2.30pm approx)

Around 100 vehicles are set to hit the holiday highway and head to the seaside for this popular motoring event which was first staged in 1963.

The classic cavalcade starts from Worsley Old Hall in Greater Manchester. It winds its way through some stunning north west countryside, finishing at the Italian Gardens in Blackpools Stanley Park.

The event is organised by the Lancashire Automobile Club. It was established in 1902 and is one of the oldest motoring clubs in the world.

These Kings of the Road start their journey at 9am from Worsley Old Hall in Greater Manchester.

The cars set off in rally style at thirty second intervals, to make their journey to Blackpool.

When the vehicles arrive at Stanley Park, it gives enthusiasts a chance to get up close and personal with these pieces of automotive history.

This prestigious motoring event is  organised by the Lancashire Automobile Club which was established in 1902 and is one of the oldest motoring clubs in the world.
