Blackpool Senior Seasiders Walking Football Club

Walking Football is one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK and has rules based on normal football. But there’s no running, no tackling and no heading.

Blackpool Senior Seasiders Walking Football Club hold regular Recreational Sessions and they’re open to all. Join a vibrant community and enjoy competitive yet friendly matches. It’s a great way to stay active in a supportive environment.

The club is located at the modern Common Edge Community Sports Village. State-of-the-art facilities are provided, including a full-size 3G pitch.

Session Times

  • Recreational sessions are Tuesdays 4-5pm and Fridays 1-2pm.

Great if you are a Walking Football aficionado visiting Blackpool on holiday. Or maybe you’re Over 50 (there’s no upper age limit) and in need of regular exercise and great banter.

5, 6, 7 or 8-side on 3G Astroturf, officiated by one of the (usually) impartial Club Referees.

These friendly sessions are followed by tea and biscuits. Along with a (mostly) civilised chat (Post match inquest) in the Sports Village Community Room.
