Christmas Lights are shining bright in Blackpool for the festive season!
The Lights were switched on on Saturday 19 December at the end of the town centre Festive Fun Day.
The big, traditional Christmas tree is a festive feature in front of St John’s Church – that’s the one opposite the Winter Gardens.

The Winter Gardens itself comes to life from late afternoon each day with a digital projection lightshow beamed onto the front of the building.
It’s done in the same sort of way that the LightPool show was projected onto the front of the Tower during the Illuminations. You can catch this fabulous projection show every day until 5 January.
Although the Blackpool Illuminations were switched off on 6 November for this year, the Tower is lit throughout the season by just short of 6000 bulbs (or should I say lamps because of course bulbs grow underground!) and festive lights are to be found throughout the town centre.
